Image Matters is complying with the General Data Protection Regulations that take effect from May 25th 2018.
Jane Sumner is the business owner and also the Data Protection Officer.
Image Matters requests your name, email address, telephone number and if you are a personal shopping client or Captain Tortue customer, specific information regarding your size and fashion preferences. This is so Jane Sumner can provide her shopping/styling service responsibly.
This personal information is stored on a computer system called Capsule CRM. Their privacy policy can be viewed by visiting https://capsulecrm.com/privacy.
The system is accessed only by Jane Sumner on a password protected computer.
Image Matters uses your personal information to contact you to book in your personal styling sessions and Captain Tortue pop-up shopping events; to notify you of any cancellations, deliveries and the launch of new season’s collections.
Image Matters uses your email address to keep you notified of events and news via the Image Matters emailed newsletter. Mail Chimp are the service provider. Their privacy policy is available to view at http://www.mailchimp/legal/terms
Image Matters does not share your contact details with anyone without your written permission.
From 25th May 2018 all clients who are happy to share their personal information with Image Matters solely for the reasons above will be required by law to:
Give permission for their personal information to be stored by Image Matters.
Give their permission for Image Matters to use their email address and name for the newsletter provided by Mail Chimp.
Give their permission for Image Matters to store personal details on Capsule CRM.
Understand that they can have access to the data held by Image Matters on Capsule CRM and on the Mail Chimp email service.
Agree Image Matters can keep personal details stored on file until asked for it to be removed.
Understand they have the right to have their personal information removed from either the Capsule CRM or the Mail Chimp Newsletter.
Understand their personal data will be destroyed if they do not wish to renew their affiliation with Image Matters and that they have the right to be forgotten.
Understand that Image Matters has one month in which to comply with a customer’s request for data.
